Back to School Scholarship Winner

Today Digicel presented Jasmine Sila with her prize of a $1,000 Scholarship through Digicel’s Back to School Promotion.

Jasmine had purchased a Top of $10 from the lucky Ah Yen Store in Lotopa and was automatically in the draw to win.

Jasmine is a Project Coordinator for Climate Change working with the Ministry of Agriculture and had just returned from a Business trip in Fiji when she opted to stop by the store to buy her Top Up for her Digicel phone “I was so shocked and happy to receive the phone call from Digicel saying that I had won! I immediately came into the store to find that I had won a $1,000 Scholarship” says a happy Jasmine Sila.

Jasmine has decided to use this scholarship money for her Niece, Perina Sila who will be starting this year at N.U.S “I am very happy as this comes at a great time for my only family member who is starting school this year, with school fees on the rise, this is a great help and am so greatful for the scholarship”

Jasmine’s niece is not in the country at the moment as she is on holiday in Fiji, but should receive a happy welcoming back present from her Aunt.
